The Kentucky Wildlands

Renfro Valley

Kentucky’s Country Music Capital, Renfro Valley is spread across 90 lush acres just outside of the Daniel Boone National Forest. Eastern Kentucky’s great music tradition is still alive and going strong at the Renfro Valley Entertainment Center, founded in 1939 as the Renfro Valley Barn Dance. Here you can catch performances of some of the best up and coming classic country, bluegrass and southern gospel artists every weekend, April through December, at one of the two unique show theatres. See some of Kentucky’s comedy performers, as well, in shows “that you don’t have to be ashamed of on Sunday morning.”

For a truly immersive experience, enjoy the Renfro Valley shopping village and consider staying nearby at a local inn. Or pull your own RV into Renfro Valley’s spacious award-winning RV park. You can even become a part of the Renfro Valley legacy by recording your own track in the live recording studio.
