Paintsville Lake

With 1,140 acres surrounded by steep cliffs and wooded coves, Paintsville Lake is a popular destination for fishing, boating and skiing. 

The lake’s natural beauty and recreation opportunities are complemented by the amenities of Paintsville Lake State Park. The full-service marina includes a fishing pier and restaurant and rents pontoon, fishing and pedal boats. The campground is suited for RVs or primitive camping. Several trails allow exploration by hikers, bikers and horseback riders. The park also includes a basketball court, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pit and playgrounds.
