The Historic Ol’ Woolen Mill in Jamestown, KY was originally built in 1824 as a cotton mill and rebuilt in 1939 as a Woolen Mill. Full size wool blankets were made here until 1950 with the completion of Lake Cumberland. This is a place of peace and serenity. Perfect for a relaxing stay located in a secluded spot with woods and rock cliffs all around you. Go to sleep listening to the waterfalls, tree frogs and katydids. Sit on the deck with your coffee or tea and listen and see nature at it’s finest. There are separate upper and lower levels connected with a secure door. Rent the entire home or just one level. Downstairs unit has separate entry way with attached garage. Each level has kitchen, dining area, family area, bedroom and bath. Each unit has a large king size bed and a roll-away-cot and futon is available.
