Frederick Vinson was born in Louisa Kentucky January 22, 1890 in the newly built home of his father the jailer of Lawrence County. The museum chronicles his life as a young boy who made friends with the jail inmates to becoming Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court. There are also many artifacts of his legacy.
