Pine Mountain State Scenic Trail

The Pine Mountain Trail is a 42 mile long, unfinished trail stretching from Jellico, TN into Kentucky and Virginia. It is currently divided up into three sections, with the Highlands section cutting a swath through Letcher County. This is an excellent hike for the more adventurous outdoors man or woman who is looking for a challenge with great rewards. There is a rich history with this trail and lots of information to be gleamed.
