Mill Springs Mill and Brown Lanier House

At more than 175 years old, the Brown-Lanier House has an expansive history connected to the Mill, the Battle of Mill Springs and Wayne County. It is available for tours and rentals for special events from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Guided Tours Take a walk through history, as you learn about this American frontier home and its ties to the Mill Springs Mill. Search for the cannon ball hole and find out how it was made, and learn why Mill Springs was the third most populated town in Kentucky during the winter of 1861-62. Tours start at the Mill Springs Battlefield Information Center and Bookstore (next to the house). All tours are guided and take approximately 35 minutes.
