Amanda Grigsby

Amanda is a native of Boyd County Ky and has lived in Carter County, Ky for 15 yrs. She is an outdoor enthusiast and has a lifelong passion for hiking, camping, caving and kayaking. She was a co-owner of Grigsby Outdoor Adventures from 2015-2020, renting kayaks and guiding explorations in Eastern Ky.
Amanda is an advocate of keeping Kentucky clean and organized a county wide cleanup in 2018. She volunteers regularly for cleanups in the area and at state parks, her favorites being Carter Caves State Park where she grew up caving, hiking and camping. She is a volunteer at Grayson Lake, and The Grayson Gallery & Art Center where she serves as Board President. The GGAC is a quaint local gallery that provides monthly shows and live entertainment to the community for free!
Amanda has also spent time promoting Carter County, Kentucky and its fascinating history and natural beauty for years through her social media platform. The Carter County Experience. She plans to establish other social media platforms to promote The Kentucky Wildlands and is excited to get started.
